Event Five

Friday 5th, July 2024.

Published in July 1890.

By now you should know the story of Dorian Gray. “The Picture of Dorian Gray tells the story of a young, beautiful man who trades his soul for eternal youth, then descends further and further into a moral abyss — until he discovers there is, after all, a price to pay for his actions. Dorian has his portrait painted as a young man. The portrait takes on Dorian's sins and his signs of aging.”

Let’s celebrate Oscar Wilde’s most loved and favorite book, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.”

Event will consist of dancers, singers, live band/music, poetry, dancing, local socialites, painting and beauty contest, food and drink.

Join us on this event. When you do, you earn a green carnation or a green rose in honor of Oscar Wilde.
